= 1 pretty awesome camp :D
Day 1 at Camp yaramundi O2/O1/2OO9
haha i woke up at 6am that morning.. thinking to myself " SHIT I HAVENT FINISHED PACKING" - -; thats just how i am though. i absolutely despise packing for any ocassion. Even if i was going overseas i'd probably suffer the same terminal lagging in my body, for the need to pack any essentials for the trip. Anyways! after shoving anything my hands laid upon into my small luggage bag.. daddy drove me down to the Bankstown Arts and crafts centre at 745. Mind you, i think i was suppose to be there at 745 Oo; but i arrived there at 5 minutes to 8 :) Obviously i was super late as it was, being the last person to rock up ^^; hehe..
Joey was my designated driver, & so once jenny, Viet and myself were fastened into the car.. we were on our way! First we had to stop by Cabra training centre to pick up the cabra students, but after that it was a non stop trip down to Yaramundi.
I think it was only a 1 hour trip down there.. but jennys music selection kept us entertained the entire way there. That, and throwing paper balls at Dimitris car in attempt to give them Joeys number. - - honestly joey - YOU SUCK @ throwing :D lolol . me and jenny fully decorated one of the balls as well T___T" .. haha
Once we arrived at the camp site, we were introduced to our ymca leaders for the weekend, and then like little school girls rushed to our cabins =D biggest relief was that there was AIR CON in the cabins ^^! ( haha, turns out we didnt need them anways >_> )
Our first activity was HIGH ROPES :) it was something that really got me out of my comfort zone.. being however many metres above the ground and all T_T YES, LIEN IS PETRIFIED OF HEIGHTS.. but all in all it was spiggin awesome !
This activity was then followed by afternoon tea, & then a little bit of training, and photo ops.
After a distasteless dinner of bland rice and STUFF o.o, everyone sat around the campfire roasting marshmellows and telling lame jokes :D with the inclusion of the MONK JOKE - - ; i could swear by the end of it, anh quang was close to murdering me ^^; .. we ended the night with Joeys copyrighted gay scouts game & headed back to the hall for a good few hours of bestest and greatest. I epic fail at EVERYTHING =D
After a good clean scrub in the shower, most of us sat around until curfew, talking or playing Dustins mafia game :D
Sleep was definitely needed by 2am.
Day 2 - O3/O1/2OO9
Wake up call was at 7. T___T" & for the rest of the day i was zombie O.O!!!
For breaky we had icky eggs and spaghetti on toast. Food is food i guess, but my pancakes would've been better.. RIGHT ALVIN ? =D
uhm, Rockclimbing was first activity for the day. After attempting to climb all three walls.. my hands were out of action for quite awhile >< they felt like AEROPLANE JELLY ;] yumyumyum.. *drools
hehe, next on the agenda was ABSEILING >_____________< i was freaking terrified once i got to the top.. my knees shook like no tomorow and i could hardly breathe properly. butbut Brendan & jenny helped me out , and i made it out alive *phew ;] i owe them my life. :D haha
Next was tortilla wraps for lunch. It was too hard. I couldnt bite it ><
After Lunch, white and red headed off for a swimming session while blue and yellow went canoeing. All i have to say is that Joey is a ball Hog, hehe (:
Canoeing was a bitch. Water was so shallow that Viet had to keep pushing our stinking boat everywhere. I rammed our boat into a tree as well, and flung spiders everywhere O_O i epic fail at canoeing as well :)

Headed back for a dinner of lasagne & chicken crumbs or something. Literally crumbs. I dont think there was any chicken in it oO
After dinner, it was for the CAVE CHALLENGE thing (: haha
i think this activity may have been the best out of all them. The guy couldve warned me that we needed to have longish pants, to prevent getting scraped on our knees T.T ..& while waiting i got attacked by a million mosquitos, whereby Kingsely thought he could help by slapping me like no tomorow ==
Anyways, my team consisted of Dustin, Tina, Robert and myself.. and was sceduled to go in third. butbut Dustin and Robert got diarrohea or something from the dinner, and took FOREVER in the toilet (: Then Viet got the stomache ache, and shortly after, Alan as well. hehe Funny thing was, it only affected those who went back for seconds.. Mustve been the food for sure O___O! haha poor boys (:
Going into the cave, Dustin started off leading our group..and we were honestly doing heaps fine! Until something happened and the mole got us lost.. and somehow we ended up going backwards at a certain point. Kind of embaressing when we bumped into TWO other teams who went in AFTER us. T___T" lolol butbut i had fun (: it was pitch black inside, and consisted of an obstacle course/maze based on tunnels and drops and crazy turns and jumps =D
Once all the teams had gone through, everyone went back to the cabins & played bestest and greatest until 2am in the morning. Lien was pooped by this stage. Nearly died (-O-) .. but junk food gave me a massive sugar rushed and allowed me to stay awake for another 2 hours, watching Viet & everyone else for that matter, write up their cards :D hehe ~
collapsed to sleep at 4am
3rd Day - O4/O1/2OO9
By now, Lien was feeling deader than a dead man. After Breaky, everyone cleaned up their cabins & .. did something which i cant remember =)
Peter, Viet, Linda, Dustin, Kenny and myself started working on our first batch of waterballoons. It was tiring.
Then sometime after this, we had our last and final activity for the weekend .. GIANT SWING (:
it was pretty hectic. Gave me a massive wedgie though.. >_>..haha & while waiting i took happy snaps of the boys "meditating" .. pschh (sleeping is the real word ;) )
Lunch came sooner then we think, and i ate one and a HALF hotdogs :D hehe i gave the other half to Viet ^^! ..
Waterfight cooled us all down .. butbut my waterbombs just kept bouncing off people T.T..
Unfortunately, White team did not win =/ but everyone knows we shouldve!! keke ..
Demo team practised for Lunar New year, while Lien discovered her promising career in photography. The boys were nice enough to model for me =D (will post up photos once i find them) ..
Left yaramundi at about 4ish.. & headed back home. Fell asleep in Joeys car several times ~
Once we got back to Bankstown.. waited around for everyone to head off home.. & joey was even nice enough to let me reverse his car out of the carpark =D .. didnt look too good though..haha T.T
Slept like no tomorow once i got home. ;] A good solid 12 hours in fact :D
